Classes 2026

A 1 hour class of Drama and Musical Theatre for students enrolled in Prep at school. Students will sing and act and include some basic movement. They will work towards performing in a drama group section at the Mackay Eisteddfod. 

A 45 minute class focusing on drama skills like; vocal and facial expression, script work, characterisation, diction, projection, stage presence, confidence, team work and improvisation. 

Students will also work towards performing in the Year 3 & Under Dramatic Excerpt, Mime and Choral Speaking Groups in the Mackay Eisteddfod.

A 45 minute class focusing on singing and basic choreography. Music Theatre students will perform in a Musical at the Conservatorium of Music Theatre in July 2026. After this show, students will learn a 12 minute Music Theatre excerpt for the Mackay Eisteddfod's Primary School Music Theatre Section.

Due to popular demand of this age group there are two options. Monday or Friday classes.

Have you always wanted to learn tap? We will be starting from the very beginning at the start of the year and will continue to progress through the levels as the year continues. If you've never learnt tap before, you'll need to start at the  beginning of the year. If you learnt tap as a child, you can join any time.

A class of music, singing, movement, drama, story time, imagination, props, percussion instruments and a whole lot of fun exploring the wonderful world of arts.
